WutomiAgri
WHO WE ARE
WutomiAgri is a practical agriculture training center for young entrepreneurs in the Gaza province.
It is a school for life, built on Christian principles, where young people are equipped with the skills for entrepreneurial success. By utilising the earth's resources, we combat hopelessness and cultivate life through agriculture in Mozambique.
The name "WutomiAgri" translates to "Life through Agriculture".
WutomiAgri was founded by and is run by Danish couple Kurt and Lisbet Terp.
WHAT WE DO
WutomiAgri is an agricultural and entrepreneurship training center located in Chicumbane (near Xai-Xai) in the Gaza province of Mozambique.
The center offers a one-year training program where students learn optimized farming techniques and business skills to foster self-sufficiency and economic growth within their communities. The program follows a "learning by doing" approach, emphasizing practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge.
Each year, WutomiAgri trains 16 students in optimized agricultural methods, financial management, and business skills. This education empowers them to improve their productivity and start their own agricultural ventures.
The program also emphasizes health, hygiene, nutrition, and community leadership, encouraging students to become proactive contributors to their local economies.
